4 tablespoons butter or margarine softened
 
1 tablespoon minced parsley
 
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
 
1/4 teaspoon rosemary, crushed
 
1/4 teaspoon salt
 
4 lamb rib or loin chops, each 3/4 inch thick
 
4 chicken livers
 
4 slices bacon
 
2 medium-sized tomatoes, each cut in half
 
1/2 pound large mushrooms
 
4 slices white bread

Directions

1. Preheat broiler if manufacturer directs. In small bowl, stir first 5 ingredients until mixed.
2. Place lamb chops on rack in broiling pan; broil 5 minutes, occasionally brushing with butter mixture; turn chops. Arrange chicken livers, bacon slices, tomatoes, and mushrooms on rack with chops. Broil 5 to 10 minutes, occasionally brushing with butter mixture and turning livers, bacon, and mushrooms once, until chops are medium-rare, chicken livers are lightly browned but still pink inside or until of desired doneness, bacon is browned, and tomatoes and mushrooms are tender. Remove meats, tomatoes, and mushrooms to warm platter as they are done; keep warm.
3. Meanwhile, toast bread slices; cut each slice diagonally in half.
