New Style Lasagna Recipe
Ingredients
| Ground beef | 1 pound | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Lasagna noodles | ||
| 3 1/2 cups Basic Spaghetti Sauce, thawed | ||
| Cottage cheese ricotta | 1 pound | |
| Swiss cheese package | 1 , sliced | |
| Parmesan cheese | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Brown ground beef and season with salt and pepper.
Drain.
Line bottom of a greased 13- x 9- x 2-inch casserole with uncooked lasagna noodles.
Spread with 1 cup Basic Spaghetti Sauce.
Add a layer of ground beef, a layer of cottage cheese, and a layer of Swiss cheese slices.
Continue process until pan is full.
End with sauce.
Cover tightly and bake at 350° for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, depending on number of layers.
Top with Parmesan cheese while hot.
