New Orleans Style Tongue Recipe

Ingredients
| 2 pounds beef tongue | ||
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Onion | 1 Small, sliced | |
| 1/4 cup white raisins | ||
| Garlic | 1/2 Clove (5gm) | |
| Bay Leaf | 1 | |
| Ketchup | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
1) Lightly season the beef tongue with salt. Place seasoned tongue in a roasting pan in an oven at 325 degrees and cook for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until skin can be removed.
