Directions

Crush crackers finely; cover bottom of greased shallow casserole with 1 /3 of the cracker crumbs.
Cover crackers with 1/2 of the oysters.
Moisten well with milk; add salt and pepper.
Repeat layer of crackers, oysters, milk and seasonings; add remaining crumbs and milk.
Dot top well with butter.
Bake in 350-degree oven for 50 minutes.
