Never Fail Frosting Recipe

This Never Fail Frosting recipe is by a long shot my most preferred recipe. This Never Fail Frosting is too good to be missed.

Ingredients

 
1 cup sugar
 
1/3 cup water
 
2 tablespoons light corn syrup
 
2 egg whites
 
1/4 cup sifted powdered sugar
 
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
 
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Directions

Combine 1 cup sugar, water, and corn syrup in a heavy saucepan.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until clear.
Cook without stirring until candy thermometer registers 232°.
Beat egg whites (at room temperature) until soft peaks form, continue to beat, slowly adding syrup mixture.
Add 1/4 cup powdered sugar and vanilla, continue beating until stiff peaks form and frosting is thick enough to spread.
Stir in pecans.
