Never-Fail Dumplings Recipe
Ingredients
| Flour | 2 Cup (32 tbs), sifted | |
| Baking powder | 3 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1⁄2 Teaspoon | |
| Shortening | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Meat stock or chicken broth | 1 (enough for boiling) |
Directions
Sift flour with baking powder and salt; cut in short- ening.
Add milk to make a drop batter.
Drop by spoonfuls into boiling stock.
Simmer, covered tightly, for 10 minutes.
Serve at once.
