Never Fail Souffle Recipe
Ingredients
2 c. milk
4 eggs beaten separately
1 tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. salt, f.g. pepper and 1/3 c. cornmeal
Paprika
2 c. strong grated cheese
Directions
1. Heat milk and butter.
2. Stir cornmeal into this and stir until thick. Cook 5 minutes over gentle heat or over hot water.
3. Stir in grated cheese, stir till melted.
4. Cool somewhat, stir in egg yolks and seasoning.
5. Fold in egg whites, pour into greased casserole, bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour, having casserole sit in a pan with some water in it.
