Neptune's Cheese Canapes Recipe
Ingredients
1 package (10 oz.) sharp Cheddar cold pack cheese food
1/3 cup butter or margarine
1 can (6 oz.) crabmeat, drained and flaked
1 tablespoon flour
Dash hot pepper sauce
6 English muffins, split and toasted
Directions
Combine cheese and butter in medium glass bowl.
Cook at LOW 1 1/2 to 2 minutes, or until softened.
Stir in crab, flour and pepper sauce; spread on muffins.
Cut each muffin into quarters and garnish, if desired, with pimento or paprika.
Arrange 12 canapes on paper plate or microwave safe serving tray.
Cook at MEDIUM 1/2 to 1 minute or until crab mixture begins to melt.
Repeat procedure with remaining ingredients.
