In a blender container or food processor bowl combine 2 cups fresh or frozen (thawed) peeled nectarine or peach slices, 1/2 cup water, 2 tablespoons honey, and 1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch.
Cover and blend or process till very smooth.
Transfer mixture to a 4 cup glass measure.
Micro cook on 100% power (HIGH) for 1 minute; stir.
Micro cook for 3 to 4 minutes more or till thickened and bubbly, stirring every 30 seconds.
Micro cook for 30 seconds more.
Cover sauce and chill thoroughly.
