Nectarine Shortcakes Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 packaged pound cake (9 ounces) | ||
| Nectarines | 4 Cup (16 tbs), sugared | |
| Frozen whipped topping | 1 Can (10oz), thawed | |
| Cinnamon-sugar | ||
Directions
MAKING
1) Slice the pound cake into 8 slices.
2) On 4 dessert plates, place 1 slice of cake and evenly spread over 1/2 the nectarines.
3) Top with rest of the cake slices and nectarines.
4) Spoon over the whipped topping on each portion and sprinkle with a little cinnamon-sugar.
SERVING
5) Serve immediately.
