Nectar Mince Pie Recipe
Ingredients
1 recipe spicy pastry
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup molasses
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
1 cup prepared mincemeat
1/2 cup seedless raisins
1/2 cup chopped nuts
2 tablespoons grated orange rind
Directions
Line a 9-inch pie plate with one-half the pastry.
Cream together butter and sugar and blend in molasses and salt Add eggs one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition.
Add mincemeat, raisins, nuts and orange rind.
Pour filling into pastry lined pie plate.
Roll out remaining crust and cut into pumpkin shapes.
Place on top of filling.
Bake in a hot oven (400" F) 30 to 40 minutes.
