Ingredients

 Olive oil2 Tablespoon
 Garlic1 Clove (5gm), minced
 6 pork rib or loin chops, cut about 3/4 to 1 inch thick
 Salt1 Teaspoon
 Pepper1/4 Teaspoon
 Mushrooms1 pound, cleaned
 Green peppers2 To taste, chopped
 Canned tomatoes1/2 Cup (16 tbs), sieved
 Dry white wine3 Tablespoon

Directions

Heat oil in a large, heavy skillet.
Add garlic and cook until lightly browned.
Season chops with salt and pepper.
Put chops in skillet and brown on both sides.
Add mushrooms, green pepper sieved tomato, and wine.
Cover and cook over low heat about 1 hour, or until tender.
