 Water or stock -2 quarts
 White navy beans -2 cups
 Celery with leaves -1 cup, chopped
 Carrots1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
 Onions -1 to 2, chopped
 Parsley3 Tablespoon, chopped
 Safflower oil1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Bay leaf1
 Small whole cayenne -1
 Caraway seeds1 Teaspoon
 Brewer's yeast -3 tablespoons
 Minced chives garnish
 Salt To Taste
 Pepper To Taste

Directions

GETTING READY
1. Take a bowl and add 2 quarts of stock or water in it and soak the beans in it and allow it to stay overnight or quickly soak and drain the beans some time before the cooking.

MAKING
2. Take a large pot, and add all ingredients into it except chives. Boil the mixture by covering and then simmer it until the vegetables and beans turn soft.
3. Add more water or stock to attain desired consistency.

SERVING
4. Serve the Navy bean health soup after garnishing with chives.
