Navratan Korma Recipe

This is a traditional Navratan Korma recipe from Mughlai Cuisine. Navratan Korma is a very delicious Indian curry . It is included as a main dish in Indian lunch and dinner menu . Ingredients

 
100 gms Paneer
 
2 cups ( carrot, beans, peas, cauliflower, Potato) Vegetables cut into small pieces
 
3 cups Tomato paste
 
2 med Onion
 
1 tsp Ginger & garlic paste
 
1 tsp Coriander powder
 
1 tsp Chilli powder
 
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
 
1 tsp Grama masala powder
 
1 tsp Fresh Cream
 
1 cup Milk
 
3 tsp Ghee or oil
 
Salt to taste
 
1/2 cup Pine apple small pieces & black grapes
 
1/2 cup Dried grapes, cashew nuts

Directions

Point 1- Fry the paneer in some oil and after frying them add them to hot water.

Point 2- Heat some ghee in a different pan, add the ginger Garlic paste, add the onions and fry them till they turn golden brown

Point 3- After the oil separates from the masala add the tomato paste, turmeric powder, masala powder, chilli powder, coriander powder .

Point 4-After they come to a boil add the vegetables and let them come to a boil.

Point 5- Then add the cream and milk to it, finally after they come to a boil add the fried paneer, pineapple and the dry fruits .

Before serving add coriander leaves and lemon juice

Great recipe, though the comment regarding Mughlai cuisine is incorrect. Navratan korma predates Mughlai cuisine without any doubt.
