Navajo Tacos Recipe
Ingredients
6 dinner plate size pieces fry bread
3 cups chili with beans, heated
1 cup chopped onion
1 1/2 cups chopped fresh tomatoes
3 large green chilies, seeded, deveined and chopped
2 cups shredded lettuce
1 1/2 cups grated Cheddar cheese
Salsa or hot pepper sauce
Directions
Place each warm fry bread on a large plate.
For each taco, layer a portion of warm chili, onion, tomato, chilies and lettuce on fry bread.
Top with a portion of cheese.
