Navajo Tacos Recipe
Ingredients
| 6 dinner plate size pieces fry bread | ||
| 3 cups chili with beans, heated | ||
| Onion | 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Tomatoes | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| 3 large green chilies, seeded, deveined and chopped | ||
| Lettuce | 2 Cup (16 tbs), shredded | |
| Cheddar Cheese | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), grated | |
| Salsa or hot pepper sauce | ||
Directions
Place each warm fry bread on a large plate.
For each taco, layer a portion of warm chili, onion, tomato, chilies and lettuce on fry bread.
Top with a portion of cheese.
