Being a festival food, Narkel Naru brings all childhood memories to my mind. When I was young kid, my mom used to prepare the coconut mixture and I used to shape up the balls. This was a regular duty for me, during the Durga Puja. Narkel Naru and Nimki – even today, this combo is served to the guests to celebrate the Bijoya Dashami day, the last day of Durga Puja.
