Nariel Na Doodh Ma Bheeda Ne Colmi Recipe
Ingredients
| 300 g prawns, shelled, cleaned and deveined | ||
| 400 g okras, cut into 2-3 pieces | ||
| Onions | 4 , chopped | |
| Turmeric powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 2 cups coconut milk extracted from 1 large coconut | ||
| Tamarind the size of a walnut infused in 6 tbsp Navsari vinegar | ||
| Juice of 1 lime | ||
| Rice flour | ||
| Sugar | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Ghee | 100 Gram | |
| 5-7 green chillies seeded | ||
| 2 pods garlic | ||
| Cumin powder | 4 Teaspoon (Grind together:) | |
Directions
Rub prawns with rice flour, salt and lime juice.
Wash well.
Heat- fat in a pan and fry onions till light brown.
Add prawns and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Add ground spices and turmeric and fry for one minute.
Add okras, and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Add coconut milk and simmer for a further 3-4 minutes.
Strain tamarind juice into pan, add sugar and salt and remove from fire.
Serve hot with rotlis, rice or khichdi.
