Nana's Strawberry Cake Recipe
Ingredients
| White cake mix | 1 box | |
| 6 oz. box strawberry Jell-0 | ||
| Oil | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Milk | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Eggs | 4 standard | |
| 1 can Angel Flake coconut | ||
| Frozen strawberries | 10 Ounce, thawed | |
| Nuts | 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Powdered sugar | 1 box (Icing:) | |
| Butter stick | 1/2 (Icing:) | |
Directions
Mix cake mix with Jell-O.
Mix oil and milk.
Add dry ingredients.
Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well.
Add 1/2 coconut, 1/2 strawberries and 1/2 nuts.
Stir until blended.
Bake in greased and floured pan (7 x 13-inch or little larger).
Bake 1 hour at 300°.
Icing: Blend together powdered sugar, butter, remaining coconut, remaining strawberries and remaining nuts.
Stir well.
Put on hot cake right from the oven.
Mix oil and milk.
