 Powdered sugar1 box (Frosting:)
 Butter stick/Margarine1 (Frosting:)
 Cocoa4 Tablespoon (Frosting:)
 Milk 7 Tablespoon (Frosting:)
 Vanilla1 Teaspoon (Frosting:)

Directions

Cake: Preheat oven to 350°.
Grease and flour two 9-inch cake pans.
Sift flour 3 times, adding salt, soda and baking powder to last sift.
Set aside.
In another bowl, beat together eggs, sugar and butter.
Beat until fluffy.
Add the dry ingredients, then add buttermilk, hot water and vanilla.
Mix thoroughly.
Pour into prepared pans and bake until toothpick comes out clean.
Frosting: Mix all ingredients together and apply to cake
