Nachos For Dinner Recipe

The nachos dinner is a mexican style dinner that can be easily prepared in the microwave for a delicious meal. Made with layers of meat and cheese on tortilla chips the nacho dinner can be prepared over the gas by cooking too. Served with sour cream and tomatoes or a side of mild salsa, the nachos meal are great for dinner.

Directions

In a l1/2-quart microwave-safe casserole crumble ground beef.
Micro cook, covered, on 100% power (high) for 4 to 6 minutes or till meat is brown, stirring once.
Drain fat, Stir, in taco sauce.
On each of 2 microwave safe dinner layer half of the tortilla chips, meat mixture, and cheese! cook each plate on high for 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 minutes or till cheese melts.
Cook the second plate of nachos while you serve the first.
Serve with sour cream, tomatoes, and olives, if desired.
Conventional Directions: Preheat the broiler.
In a small skillet brown ground beef.
Drain fat and stir in taco sauce.
On a pizza pan layer all of the chips, meat mixture, and cheese.
Broil 4 to 5 inches from the heat for 2 to 3 minutes or till cheese melts.
Serve as directed.
