Nachos Recipe
Ingredients
| 12 corn tortillas, cut into eighths | ||
| Oil for deep frying | ||
| 4 cups shredded mild cheddar cheese | ||
| Green chili peppers | 1 4 Ounce, finely chopped | |
Directions
Preheat oven to 400° F.
Fry tortillas in 1 inch oil at 375° F a few at a time, stirring to separate.
Drain on paper towels.
Spread an even layer of tortilla chips in a shallow oven-proof dish.
Combine cheese and peppers in a small bowl; then spread evenly over tortilla chips.
Bake 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
