Mystery Pecan Pie Recipe
Ingredients
| Cream cheese | 1 | |
| Sugar | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Vanilla | 2 Teaspoon, divided | |
| Eggs | 4 standard | |
| 1 (10-inch) pie shell, unbaked | ||
| Pecans | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Light corn syrup | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Combine the 1/3 cup sugar, salt, cream cheese, 1 teaspoon vanilla, and 1 egg.
Mix well.
Pour into pie crust.
Sprinkle pecans on top.
Combine remaining eggs, sugar, vanilla, and syrup.
Mix well.
Pour over pecans.
Bake 35-40 minutes, or until center is firm.
