MYSORE CHUTNEY Recipe
Ingredients
| Split bengal gram | 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (chana dal) | |
| Split black gram | 1 Tablespoon (urad dal) | |
| Red chillies | 3 | |
| Tamarind pulp | 1⁄2 Tablespoon (imli) | |
| Peppercorns | 1⁄2 Teaspoon (kali mirch) | |
| Grated jaggery | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Grated coconut | 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs) | |
| Oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | To Taste |

Directions
2. Add the red chillies and fry for 2 minutes.
3. Add the tamarind, peppercorns, jaggery and coconut and fry for a while. Cool for some time.
4. When cool, grind with salt to a smooth paste, adding a little water if needed.
5.Cool and serve
