Watching this wonderful video made me so hungry! Now I am off to defrost some mutton leg pieces from the freezer. I buy my goat fresh at Indus Market in Berkeley, but always buy some extra to put in the freezer for other meals. When I make trips to this wondeful favourite market, I pick up many of my meats, spices, and other Indian and Pakistani items items. They have a restaurant that is connected and I often stop for a bite. Their mutton curry is my favourite.
This restaurant is furnished with colouful tables and chairs from Pakistan and lovely hand-painted village scenes on the walls.
Indus is located just 4 doors or so North on San Pablo up from University Avenue in Berkeley.
