Mutton Rendang Recipe
Ingredients
| Maggi Coconut | ||
| Milk powder | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Maggi Lemon | ||
| Masala Cubes 3, crumbled | ||
| Cinnamon | 1 Inch | |
| Cloves | 12 | |
| Whole Red Chillies 6 | ||
| Turmeric powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Onions 2, finely chopped | ||
| Galangal (type of ginger) 3" piece, finely chopped | ||
| Garlic 8 cloves, finely chopped | ||
| Mutton 1 kg boneless, cubed | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
Directions
MAKING
1)In a bowl, dissolve Maggi Coconut Milk Powder in 3 cups warm water and make the coconut powder.
2)In a mixer, grind cinnamon, cloves, red chillies and turmeric powder coarsely.
3)Heat a pan and pour in the coconut milk.
4)Add in chopped onions, galangal, garlic, the coarsely ground spices, mutton, Maggi Lemon Masala Cubes and salt to taste.
5)Allow it to boil. Cover and cook till done.
6)Open the cover and cook till dry on medium flame.
SERVING
7)Serve hot.
