Mutton Or Lamb Casserole Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 lb. lean lamb or mutton without bone | ||
| Parsley | 1 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Stock | 1/8 Pint | |
| Seasoned flour | ||
| Cider | 1/8 Pint | |
| Butter/Margarine | 1 Ounce | |
| 2 tsp. Worcester sauce | ||
| Onion | 1 Small, chopped | |
| Garlic | 1/2 Clove (5gm), chopped | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Cut the meat in small pieces and coat it with seasoned flour.
Heat the butter or margarine and fry the meat until brown.
Remove meat to a casserole and add the onion, garlic and parsley.
Add stock, cider and sauce to the frying pan and simmer for 5 minutes.
Pour over the meat, cover and cook gently until the meat is tender.
Taste the sauce for seasoning.
