Mutton Kofta Curry Recipe
Ingredients
| Mutton | 500 Gram (For 4) | |
| Cloves | 5 (For 4) | |
| Eggs | 1 Small (For 4) | |
| Cinnamon a small piece | ||
| Bengal Gram | 55 Gram (For 4) | |
| Ginger | 5 Gram (For 4) | |
| Green chillies | 5 Gram (For 4) | |
| Salt | To Taste (For 4) | |
| Coriander leaves | 1/4 Bunch (100gm) (For 4) | |
| Ghee | 30 Gram (For 4) | |
| Coriander powder | 15 Gram (Curry) | |
| Red chillies | 5 Gram (Curry) | |
| Turmeric a pinch | ||
| Coconut | 30 Gram (Curry) | |
| Garlic a few flakes | ||
| Green chillies | To Taste (Curry) | |
| Tomatoes | 115 Gram (Curry) | |
| Lime | 1/2 (Curry) | |
| Salt | To Taste (Curry) | |
| Onion | 55 Gram (Curry) | |
| Fat | 115 Gram (Curry) | |
Directions
1. Wash meat. Remove membranes and bones.
2. Mince meat.
3. Wash and boil gram.
4. Grind together cooked gram, cinnamon, cloves, ginger, green chillies and meat.
5. Add salt, chopped coriander leaves and beaten egg.
6. Form into even sized balls with wet hands and fry lightly.
Curry
1. Slice onion.
2. Grind the spices.
3. Blanch tomatoes.
4. Heat some fat and fry onion.
5. Add spices and fry.
6. Add blanched tomatoes, and stock to cook the spices.
7. Add koftas and salt; simmer till meat is cooked.
8. Add lime juice before taking off the fire.
