Ingredients
| Mutton | 500 Gram | |
| Coconut | 1 | |
| Onions | 3 | |
| Red chillies | 4 | |
| 1 tsp. each of cumin and poppy seeds and peppercorns | ||
| Mustard seeds | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Garam masala | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Green chillies | 4 | |
| Garlic | 10 Gram | |
| Ginger | 1 Inch | |
| Turmeric powder | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Handful of corriander leaves | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
Directions
Grate and grind 1/4 coconut and extract juice.
Roast half the coconut with 1 onion and whole spices on a dry girdle to a red colour, grind to a paste.
Cut the remainder coconut into pieces and fry to a red colour.
Boil the mutton with 1 chopped onion, ginger, corriander leaves and salt till tender.
Heat 3 tblsps oil and fry remaining garlic, ginger and onion till light golden in colour.
Add masala paste, mutton all the spices and milk of coconut.
Mix well then put in 4 tblsps tamrind juice.
Cook till the gravy is thick.
Decorate with corriander leaves.
