Mutter Paneer Masala Recipe

| Cumin seeds | 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Jeera) | |
| Chopped onions | 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs) | |
| Ginger paste | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Green chili paste | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Garlic paste | 1⁄2 Teaspoon | |
| Chopped tomatoes | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Turmeric powder | 1 Pinch (Haldi) | |
| Chili powder | 1⁄2 Teaspoon | |
| Garam masala | 1⁄2 Teaspoon | |
| Oil | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Chopped coriander | 1 Tablespoon |

Directions
When they crackle, add onions and saute till they are translucent.
Add ginger paste, green chilli paste, garlic paste and tomatoes, and simmer till the tomatoes are cooked.
Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala, green peas and potatoes and cook for some time.
Add 1 1/2 cups of water and salt and allow to come to a boil.
Mash 2 to 3 pieces of potatoes in the pan to thicken the gravy.
Simmer till the gravy thickens.
Garnish with the chopped coriander and serve hot with rotis or parathas.
