Ingredients

 
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
 
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
 
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
 
1 1/4 cups milk
 
1 teaspoon Dijon-style mustard
 
1 teaspoon vinegar

Directions

In saucepan melt butter.
Blend in flour, dry mustard, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and dash white pepper.
Add milk.
Cook and stir till mixture is thickened and bubbly.
Remove sauce from heat; stir in mustard and vinegar.
For a more yellow sauce, add one or two drops yellow food coloring, if desired.
Serve hot.
