Mustard Mousse Recipe

Ingredients

 
1 envelope unflavored gelatin
 
1 cup water
 
3/4 cup sugar
 
11/2 tablespoons dry mustard
 
1/4 teaspoon salt
 
4 eggs, beaten
 
1/2 cup cider vinegar
 
1 cup whipping cream, whipped

Directions

Sprinkle gelatin over water in top of a double boiler; bring water to a boil.
Combine sugar, mustard, and salt; add to gelatin mixture.
Stir in eggs and vinegar.
Reduce heat to low; cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Let mixture cool to room temperature.
Gently fold whipped cream into mustard mixture; pour into a lightly oiled 6-cup ring mold.
Chill until set.
Unmold on a serving platter.
Serve with cubed ham and pineapple chunks.
