Mustard Glazed Shrimp Recipe
Ingredients
| No Stick Corn Oil Cooking Spray | ||
| Dry mustard | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Hot water | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 1/4 cup Light or Dark Corn Syrup | ||
| 1/4 cup prepared duck or plum sauce | ||
| 2 tablespoons rice wine or sake | ||
| Soy sauce | 1 Tablespoon | |
| 1 tablespoon dark Oriental sesame oil | ||
| 1 pound large shrimp, shelled and deveined, or sea scallops | ||
| 3/4 pound sliced bacon, cut crosswise in half | ||
| Bamboo skewers, soaked in cold water 20 minutes | ||
Directions
Line broiler pan rack with foil; spray with cooking spray.
In small bowl stir mustard and water until smooth.
Stir in corn syrup, duck sauce, rice wine, soy sauce and sesame oil.
In large bowl toss shrimp with about 1/4 cup of mustard glaze.
Wrap half slice bacon around each shrimp and thread about 1 inch apart onto skewers.
Broil 6 inches from heat, 8 to 10 minutes or until shrimp are tender, turning and brushing occasionally with remaining mustard glaze.
