Mushrooms With Garlic And Parsley Recipe

1kg firm white mushrooms caps
1 cup olive oil
1 fat clove garlic, finely chopped
Salt and freshly ground pepper
1/2 cup finely chopped parsley
An extra clove garlic, finely chopped
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Directions
Wipe the mushrooms and cut in half if large. Heat about half the olive oil in a large frying pan until it begins to give off a haze, add half the mushrooms and saute on high heat without turning for 2 minutes. Sprinkle with 1/2 clove chopped garlic and toss for 2 more minutes. Turn into a heated serving dish and keep warm while you saute the remaining mushrooms in the remaining oil, sprinkling with 1/2 clove garlic. Add to the first batch of mushrooms and sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste, extra chopped garlic, parsley and lemon juice. Serve immediately with plain or toasted french bread.
