Mushrooms With Cheese Recipe

 Butter2 Tablespoon
 White breadcrumbs1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Garlic1 Clove (5gm), crushed
 2 cups mushrooms butter for greasing
 Salt1 Pinch
  black pepper1
 Onion1 Small, finely chopped
 Parsley2 Tablespoon, finely chopped
 1/2 cup grated strong Cheddar cheese

Directions

1 Put the butter in an ovenproof glass measuring jug and microwave on full power for 1 minute.
2 Stir in the breadcrumbs and garlic. Microwave on full power for 3 minutes, stirring once, then set aside.
3 Remove the stalks from the mushrooms (use in a soup or sauce) and place the caps, dark side up, in a lightly greased 23 x 13 x 10 cm/9 x 5 x 4 inch dish.
4 Sprinkle with salt, pepper, onion and parsley, if used.
5 Mix the cheese with the breadcrumbs and sprinkle over the mushrooms.
6 Microwave on full power for 3-3 1/2 minutes. DO NOT COVER.
