Mushrooms Oreganata Recipe
Ingredients
1/4 cup water
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
1/2 teaspoon marjoram
1/4 teaspoon oregano
1/4 teaspoon thyme
1 clove garlic
1 bay leaf
1 pound mushrooms
Directions
Place the water, oil, lemon juice, vinegar, marjoram, oregano, thyme, garlic, and bay leaf in a medium-size saucepan.
Bring to a boil over medium heat.
Add the mushrooms and return to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
Remove from heat.
Remove the garlic clove and bay leaf.
Cool, then chill before serving, if desired.
