Mushrooms In Lebanese Spices Recipe
Ingredients
| 400 g/12 oz mushrooms thickly sliced | ||
| Cinnamon stick | 3/4 | |
| Cloves | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 1 1/2 tsp coriandar seeds | ||
| Olive oil | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Lemon juice | 1 1/2 Tablespoon | |
| Oregano | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 2 tsp chopped fresh parsley or coriader/cilantro | ||
| 2 tsp chopped fresh mint leaves | ||
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Black pepper powder | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Crush cinnamon, clove and coriander seeds in a mortar and pestle.
Heat 3 tbsp oil in a frying pan.
Add the mushrooms and 1 tsp of freshly ground spices.
Cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring occasionally. (Store the remaining spice mixture).
Stir in lemon juice, the herbs, salt and pepper.
Cook for 1 more minute.
