Mushroom Cheddar Canapes Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter/Margarine | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Chili powder | 1 Pinch | |
| Flour | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Heavy cream/Evaporated milk | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Canned mushrooms | 4 Ounce, drained and finely chopped (Reserve Liquid) | |
| Mushroom liquid/From can of mushrooms | 3⁄10 Cup (5.33 tbs) | |
| Grated cheddar cheese | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Parsley flakes | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Melba toast | 1 |
Directions
Place butter and chili powder in 1-quart casserole.
Microwave on HIGH until butter is melted.
Blend in flour.
Stir in cream and mushroom liquid.
Microwave 1 minute on HIGH.
Add cheese.
Microwave 1 to 2 minutes on HIGH, or until cheese is melted.
Stir in mushrooms.
Spread mixture on Melba toast and garnish with parsley.
Place 10 at a time on a paper towel-lined plate.
Microwave 40 seconds on HIGH, or until hot.
Microwave on HIGH until butter is melted.
