Mushroom Appetizer Recipe

Over the years I have mastered the art of making Mushroom Appetizer which I was taught by my family elders. The Asian Mushroom Appetizer is generally consumed as an Appetizer. Believe me, just try this Mushroom Appetizer once, you'll love it.

Ingredients

 
1/2 pound ground beef or lamb
 
1 teaspoon salt
 
1/4 teaspoon allspice
 
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
 
Pinch of black pepper
 
25 to 30 large mushrooms
 
1/4 cup corn oil

Directions

In a mixing bowl, combine the meat with the salt, allspice, garlic powder and black pepper.
Evenly divide the mixture into 25 to 30 pieces and shape them into round meatballs.
Set aside.
Wash the mushrooms quickly but thoroughly.
Remove the stems; reserve them for another purpose.
Place the mushrooms, cap side down, on a lightly oiled, shallow baking sheet.
Place a meatball into each cap.
Dot each cap with one teaspoon of corn oil.
Bake about 15 minutes at 375 degrees or until the meat is done.
Skewer with fancy cocktail toothpicks and serve hot.
