Mushroom Pilaf Recipe

Ingredients
| Mushrooms | 2 Cup (16 tbs), sliced | |
| Onion | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm), crushed | |
| Parsley | 2 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Basil leaves | 1 Teaspoon, crushed | |
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| 2 Tbs. Fleischmann's Margarine | ||
| 2/3 cup uncooked converted rice | ||
| Water | 1 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Toasted almonds | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
Directions
Saute mushrooms, onion, garlic, parsley, basil and pepper in margarine about 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
Stir in rice and water.
Bring to a boil over high heat.
Cover; reduce heat and simmer until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender, about 25 minutes.
Stir in almonds.
