Mushroom Liver Casserole Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 lb. chicken gizzards diced | ||
| 14 oz. bottle catsup | ||
| Chicken livers | 2 Pound | |
| Butter | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Onions | 2 , diced | |
| Mushrooms | 1 Pound, sliced | |
| Worcestershire | 2 Tablespoon | |
Directions
MAKING
1. In a large saucepan, heat 2 tablespoons of butter
2. Brown the gizzards in the hot butter
3. Add the catsup to the butter and cook till the gizzards are tender
4. Tip in the chicken livers to the mixture and sauté
5. Add the chopped onions along with 2 tablespoons of butter
6. Cook for 10 minutes more
7. In a separate pan, sauté the mushrooms in 4 T butter for 5 mins
8. Mix everything together and add the Worcestershire
SERVING
9. Serve hot immediately.
