Mushroom Cream Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter | 2 Ounce, chopped | |
| Mushrooms | 3 Ounce, sliced | |
| Chicken stock | 1/4 Pint | |
| 2 tbsp dry white wine, 1 tsp lemon juice | ||
| Roux, 1/4 pt (150 ml) fresh cream, salt and pepper | ||
Directions
MAKING
1. In a pan, heat butter and add onions and mushrooms to it; cook till tender
2. Add in chicken stock, wine and lemon juice to it and allow to simmer for a few more minutes
3. Add roux and simmer again for another couple of minutes; add cream and seasoning according to taste
4. Add it to a processor and blend just a little for a few seconds - it need not be smooth
SERVING
5. Serve it hot
