Ingredients

 Butter/Margarine1/2 Ounce
 Onion1/2 Small, finely chopped
 Mushrooms4 Ounce, trimmed
 1 pint stock OR water plus chicken stock cube
 Squeeze of lemon juice
 Sherry1 Tablespoon

Directions

MAKING
1) In a saucepan melt butter.
2) Gently fry onion till tender.
3) Add mushrooms and fry for 5 minutes.
4) Stir in stock and lemon juice and boil.
5) Take off from heat, adjust seasoning and mix sherry.

SERVING
6) Serve with cheese straws.
