1/4 cup olive oil or salad oil
2 teaspoons dry basil leaves

1/8 teaspoon each pepper and paprika
2 teaspoons Dijon mustard

2 green onions, thinly sliced
2/3 cup broken walnut pieces
4 ounces blue veined cheese, coarsely crumbled
4 cups bite size pieces of romaine or butter lettuce leaves
About 10 cherry tomatoes, whole or halved
Directions
In a salad bowl, combine oil, basil, salt, pepper, paprika, mustard, and vinegar.
Beat with a fork until blended.
Mix in mushrooms and green onions; let stand at room temperature to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Add walnut pieces, blue cheese, lettuce, and cherry tomatoes and toss lightly.
