 Mushrooms4 Cup (16 tbs), thinly sliced
 2 cups cooked barley, plus cooking liquid
 Carrots1 Cup (16 tbs), shredded
 Onion4 Ounce, diced
 Celery ribs2 , minced
 Parsley1 Tablespoon, chopped
 Dash nutmeg
 Salt To Taste

Directions

Combine all ingredients in large pot; cover and simmer slowly for 1 1/2 hours, or until desired consistency.
Divide evenly.
