Beef and Beer Chili Recipe Video

Ingredients

 
1 lb ground beef
 
1 c red onions, chopped
 
1/2 c red pepper, chopped
 
2 garlic cloves, minced
 
1 1/2 tbsp chili powder
 
2 tsp cumin
 
1 tsp sugar
 
1 tsp oregano
 
1-2 can red kindney beans, rinsed and drained
 
1 14.5 oz can stewed tomatoes with juice
 
1 c low sodium beef broth
 
1 bottle beer
 
1/4 c yellow cornmeal
 
1 tbsp fresh lime juice

Directions

1 Combine first four ingredients until beef is brown.
2. Add chili powder, cumin, sugar and salt and cook.
3. Add oregano, beans, tomatoes, beef broth and beer.
4. Add the cornmeal and lime juice.
5. Cook for 15-20 minutes.
Serve.
