Murgh Badami Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 kg. jointed chicken | ||
| Ghee | 6 Tablespoon | |
| 1 large finely sliced onion | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| 1 cup beaten yoghurt mixed with 1/2 cup milk | ||
| Poppy seeds | 1 Tablespoon | |
| 1/2 cup blanched and coarsely ground almonds | ||
| Powdered saffron | 1/4 Teaspoon, heated | |
| 4 whole green chillies | ||
Directions
In hot ghee, fry chicken pieces till brown, remove.
In same ghee, fry onions golden.
Add in yoghurt, almonds, poppy seeds, salt and chillies when mixture boils, add chicken pieces and simmer till chicken is done and a thick gravy formed.
