Muir Woods Chocolate Cherry Cake Recipe

Cream butter, gradually adding sugar and vanilla.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Blend in chocolate.
Sift flour with baking powder, baking soda and salt.
Add dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk, beating until blended.
Spread batter into 3 waxed paper-lined 9-inch round cake pans.
Bake at 375°F for about 25 minutes.
Cool on rack for 10 minutes.
Remove cake and waxed paper; cool.
Fill with Muir Woods Cherry Cream Filling.
Frost top and sides with Chocolate Sour Cream Frosting.
