Mr. X's Favorite Italian Spaghetti Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
1 lb. ground round steak
1 t seasoned salt
1 lb Italian sausage (hot or sweet)
2 t oil
11/2 c frozen chopped green pepper
11/2 c frozen chopped onion
1can (29 oz.) tomatoes
1 can (15 oz.) tomato sauce
1 envelope spaghetti sauce mix
1/4 c grated Parmesan cheese
Directions
Combine ground round steak and seasoned salt and shape into small balls 1 1/2 inches in diameter; slice sausage in 1-inch pieces.
Brown both in oil in a large 3- or 4-qt.frying pan.
Push aside and saute green pepper and onion for 8 minutes.
Remove excess fat.
Add remaining ingredients and simmer, covered, for 2 hours.
