Ingredients

 1 1/2 kg pomfret cut half inch thick through the bone
 4-6 green chillies, seeded and chopped
 Curry leaves strip3
 Ginger2 Inch, peeled
 2 cups coconut milk extracted from 1/2 coconut
 Juice of 2-3 limes
 Salt To Taste
 Sesame seed oil3 Tablespoon
 Cumin seeds1 Teaspoon (Dry roast individually and grind together to a fine paste:)
 Coriander seeds1 Tablespoon (Dry roast individually and grind together to a fine paste:)
 Poppy seeds1 Tablespoon (Dry roast individually and grind together to a fine paste:)
 Coconut1/2 , grated (Dry roast individually and grind together to a fine paste:)
 Peanuts2 Tablespoon (Dry roast individually and grind together to a fine paste:)
 Cashew nuts3 Tablespoon (Dry roast individually and grind together to a fine paste:)

 6-7 dry Goa red chillies

Directions

Rub lime juice and salt on fish and leave to marinate for half an hour.
Mix both ground pastes.
Heat oil in a pan and fry ground spices.
Add coconut milk, ginger, green chillies, curry leaves and salt.
Mix well.
The texture should be that of milk.
Add water if necessary.
Simmer for 3-4 minutes.
Add fish and simmer till done.
Add lime juice to taste.
Serve with white rice and papads.
