Broiled Moroccan Lamb Meat Skewers Recipe Video

How to make delicious lamb meat skewers, a Moroccan specialty for the Eid. A simple dish that would appeal to every palate.

Ingredients

1 pound of tender lamb meat

1 large onion

1/2 cup of chopped parsley

1 teaspoon of cumin

1 teaspoon of salt

1/2 teaspoon of pepper

3 tablespoons of cooking oil

Directions

1- Cut the meat into cubes.
2- Grate the onion.
3- Mix all the ingredients together: meat, onion, parsley, spices, and oil.
4- Cover the meat and let it marinate for the next hour or 2 in the fridge.
5- Put the meat in the skewers.
6- If you have a barbeque use it to cook the meat. Otherwise, place the skewers on top of a baking pan and broil them in the oven until cooked but still juicy.
Hint: Add some water in your baking pan, so when the meat juices drop they do not get burnt and create smoke.

Serving:
Serve the skewers immediately with bread and Moroccan mint tea. Enjoy!
